of Chatsworth, CA. has been competitively bass fishing on the Southern California circuits for the last 5 years. His favorite technique is fishing the jig "because it consistently produces the largest fish". His personal best is a 9lb. 15oz. Northern Largemouth from Lake Lopez on a brown and purple jig. He is the President of the West Valley Bassmasters located in the San Fernando Valley. He also serves as the Region 7 Director and on the Executive Board as the Vice President for California Bass Federation.

Chad Smith of Denair, CA. has been an avid west coast bass angler for the past 20 years. He has been fishing competitively for the past 10 years. He has a passion for finesse fishing and you can find him shaking a worm on the Motherlode lakes. Chad's first tournament win came on a BERSERK BAITS Custom Hand-Poured Worm on a shaky head (go figure!).
Carlos Carbajal of Denair, CA. has been fishing recreationally for over 30 years. He recently started competing in the Pro and Semi-Pro Angler's Choice circuits, 100% BASS, and local charity tournaments. Throwing jigs, top-water, and crankbaits are among his favorite techniques. You can usually find Carlos fishing the Motherlode lakes.
John Myers of Atwater, CA. has been a tournament angler for the past 19 years. John has numerous tournament wins and top ten finishes under his belt (too many to count). John loves to power fish at the Delta and Clear Lake but spends most of his time fishing BERSERK BAITS at our Mother Lode lakes. Ryan Cook of Atwater, CA. is relatively new to the tournament circuit but with twelve tournament wins and many top ten finishes under his belt he's making a name for himself on the Motherlode Circuit. Ryan's favorite technique is fishing a jig (BERSERK BAITS, of course). Ryan caught this huge 13 pound Largemouth (his personal best) on Lake Don Pedro on a BERSERK jig in March of 2008.
Daniel Montes of Turlock, CA fishes as a co-angler and is one of the west coast's up and coming names in competitive bass fishing. He has competed in all the major circuits on the west coast, such as FLW Stren, FLW National Guard, Bass Elite, Won Bass, and Angler's Choice. He qualified and fished in the Stren Series Championship in Alabama in 2007. Daniel has been working hard with BERSERK BAITS design staff to make products specifically for the co-angler. Jared Cook of Atwater, CA. is the youngest BERSERK BAITS Pro Staff at just 15 years old. Jared is a master jig fisherman for his age and already has 2 fish over 10 pounds to his credit. He caught the first BERSERK jig fish over 10 pounds while field testing our 1/2 ounce Melon Craw jig. This kid is already making a name for himself in the Motherlode Region.
Steve Black of Merced, CA. has been fishing Central California lakes and waterways since 1988. He began fishing competitively with clubs that included Merced Bass Club, Nor-Cal Bass, and presently 100% Bass Pro Team. When not on the water,he enjoys making his own spinnerbaits from scratch, so its no surprise his PB 8 1/2 largemouth came on a home-made spinnerbait. Steve's new to the Berserks Baits Team but already found a new favorite toy, the Berserk Purple Hornet Jig, so move over spinnerbaits there's a new toy in his toy box.
Ron Howe of Elk Grove, CA. has been bass fishing since he was 4 years old and has never looked back. Ron has been a Tournament Angler for 17 years. He has competed in club tournaments like Elk Grove Bass and Walton's Pond Tournaments, Stockton Bass and 100% Bass. Ron has 3 wins and several top ten and top twenty finishes in his tournament fishing carreer. He loves to compete and has a serious passion and energy to help this sport grow on the west coast. Bob Miller of Sacramento, CA. has been fishing for about 25 years. He's been fishing competitively in northern and central California for the past 13 years. His favorite place to fish is Clear Lake (Hog Heaven) with just about any place else a close second. Bob's favorite techniques are finessing the jig and worm. Don Longton of Atwater, CA. was taught to bass fish by his grandfather at the age of five. He has been fishing bass tournaments on the west coast since 1973 from Lake Mead to Lake Shasta. His favorite body of water is the California Delta with Lake Don Pedro a close second. His favorite technique is whatever the fish want at the time. Don has a wealth of knowledge and is a huge asset to the Berserk Baits Pro Staff Team.
Phil "Jigs" Hill of Lake Don Pedro, CA. has been bass fishing since he was 10 years old. Jigs has been a tournament angler for more than 21 years. He has competed in numerous club tournaments as well as W.O.N. BASS, Nor-Cal Bass, 100% Bass, B.A.S.S. Federation, American Bass and West Coast Bass. Jigs has 2 tournament wins to his credit as well as many top 10 finishes and 10 TOC team titles. Jigs started making his own spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and jigs in the 1970s always trying to improve on his favorite baits. Thanks to Jigs and his years of research Berserk Baits is releasing a new line of spinnerbaits and buzzbaits. These baits are hand-made in the USA by Phil using only the finest materials.
